I believe one of the greatest opportunities before the Church today is not creating more programs—it’s strengthening the home.
Throughout Scripture, God places the primary responsibility for passing faith to the next generation on parents. While churches and Christian schools play an essential role, they were never intended to replace the home. My passion is helping families, churches, and schools rediscover God’s design and work together to raise lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
Today, I serve as the Family Ministry Development Lead at Renewanation, where I help develop resources, training, and partnerships that equip parents, pastors, Christian educators, and ministry leaders to cultivate biblical faith in the home. Whether I’m speaking at a conference, training a faculty, consulting with church leaders, or writing for parents, my goal is always the same: to help families confidently disciple the next generation.
My journey has allowed me to serve in Christian education, pastoral ministry, and organizational leadership. Those experiences have given me a unique perspective on the challenges facing today’s families and the incredible opportunity churches and Christian schools have to become true partners with parents rather than substitutes for them.
I earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University; and While I value academic study, I’m even more passionate about translating biblical truth into practical tools that families can actually use around the dinner table, during everyday conversations, and throughout the rhythms of life.
I’m also an author with a heart for creating resources that help parents lead with confidence and raise children who know, love, and follow Christ. Much of my writing explores home discipleship, the partnership between Christian schools and families, and the vital role fathers play in shaping the spiritual lives of their children.
Above every title or accomplishment, however, I’m simply a husband, father, and follower of Jesus. Some of my greatest lessons about discipleship haven’t come from a classroom or conference stage—they’ve come from the daily privilege of leading my own family. Those ordinary moments continue to remind me that the home is God’s primary training ground for faith.
My prayer is that everything I write, teach, and create points people back to God’s good design for the family. If I can help parents feel more equipped, encourage churches to invest in families, or inspire Christian schools to deepen their partnership with the home, then I’m investing in something that will impact generations to come.
I’d be honored to serve your church, school, ministry, or organization as together we help the next generation know and follow Jesus.
